** Position Purpose*
* Operates ultrasound equipment and film processor to produce diagnostic images for presentation to the Perinatologist. Also assists Perinatologist in doing genetic procedures.

** As an Perinatology Ultrasound Tech, you will*
* + Appropriately educated and explains procedures to patients. Modifies approach based on age, developmental level and needs of patient.

+ Follows appropriate Center protocol for procedures unless specified differently by the Perinatologist.

+ Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation. Selects and prepares proper equipment and supplies.

+ Operates medical imaging equipment properly and safely.

+ Prepares patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.

** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Technical school/associate's degree required.

+ 2-4 years of experience required.

+ RDMS Certificate required.

+ Obstetrical (NTQR) Certification required.

+ BLS certification required.
