Registered Nurse - Outpatient Rehabilitation
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing quality nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and floating as needed between outpatient, medical-surgical, emergency department, and geriatric behavioral health settings. The role primarily focuses on those within the Yingling Outpatient Rehabilitation Center.
Provide acute care and rehabilitation services to adults and geriatric patients.
Perform assessments and implement individualized care plans.
Collaborate with physical therapy, social services, and rapid response teams.
Monitor and manage patient care activities and vital signs.
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
Utilize adaptive devices and equipment to assist in patient rehabilitation.
BLS certification required.
Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred.
Must complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process.
