Monitor Technician
Job DescriptionThe Monitor Technician will be responsible for continuous observation of telemetry unit, accurate assessment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and/or arrhythmia's, complete evaluation and mounting of rhythm strips and communication of any rhythm change information to nursing staff.
Work HoursOne 12 hr and one 8 hr shift per week, day/night shift rotation, weekends and holidays
RequirementsHigh School graduate or equivalent required.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
PreferredFundamental knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation and monitoring function is preferred.
