Activity Associate I - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).

Activity Associate I rates start at $16.00 per hour.

Casual, daylight shift, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at least 2 shifts per month.

LIFE is a program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services. The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.

The Activity Associate I works under supervision with general exercise of independent judgment in the planning, coordinating, and implementing of a comprehensive multi-level recreation program to meet the needs of participants. Adheres to administrative and departmental policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, health, and confidentiality.

Activity Associate I qualifications include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must have one year of experience with a frail or elderly population.
