Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, playing a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering high-quality patient care.

• Greet, prepare, and assist patients during medical visits.
• Record and update patient history, vital signs, and other clinical information.
• Support providers during examinations and medical procedures.
• Administer injections or medications under physician direction.
• Perform basic laboratory tests, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and manage reminders.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Ensure exam rooms are properly cleaned, stocked, and maintained.
• Manage incoming phone calls, messages, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Assist front desk as needed, including insurance verification and check-in/check-out duties.e

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant training program.
• Certification as a CMA, RMA, or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on setting).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• Bilingual communication skills (if applicable).

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (or required by some employers).
