Assistant Manager Of Dietary/Food Services
The Horsham Clinic is seeking an Assistant Manager of Dietary/Food Services to join our team of great people! The Assistant Dietary Manager is responsible for assisting the Manager in managing and coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department. This includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and assist with managing an effective Dietary staff.
The Assistant Dietary Manager is responsible for the serving of meals for patients and facility staff in accordance with approved menu cycles and production sheets.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Dietary Manager in managing and coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department.
- Providing nutritional meals for patients and facility employees.
- Maintaining an organized and sanitary environment.
- Monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required.
- Ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
- Assisting with managing an effective Dietary staff.
- Assisting with scheduling, payroll, disciplinary actions and interviewing for all Dietary staff.
- Coordinating with various departments and level of staff including but not limited to nursing, clinical, DPO.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
- Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager a plus.
- Food Handler's certificate
- Five (5) years of demonstrated responsible food service experience with at least two (2) years in a management/supervisory Management of a food service unit for a Joint Commission Accredited hospital, 50 beds or more, a plus.
- May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
