Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a PRN Traveling Assistant to Psychiatric Provider to join our Team at State Correctional Institution Benner located in Bellefonte, PA, State Correctional Institution Smithfield in Huntingdon, PA, State Correctional Institution Houtzdale in Houtzdale, PA and State Correctional Institution Huntingdon in Huntingdon, PA.
The Traveling Assistant to Psychiatric Provider will assist with the flow of patients in and out of the Tele Health clinic and remain present during the clinic session. Other responsibilities will include educating the patient on the nature and process of Tele Health, navigating and reviewing patient information using the Electronic Medical Records system, and maintaining and assisting the provider in using the Tele Health equipment.
Shift: Day Shift 8am to 4:30pm (specific days would vary based on need)/ 1
-3 days per week
$19-21/hour plus reimbursement for mileage and travel time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Must have a current driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
