Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Low Incidence Program
Location:
Broomall, PA Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description Seeking dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support our Low Incidence Program. In this role, you will evaluate, assess, and deliver specialized speech and language therapeutic interventions to students ages 5 through 21. Your work will empower students to enhance their communication skills, support language development, and foster meaningful participation in both educational and community environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluations & Assessments:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for students.
* Therapy Delivery:
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans and direct intervention services across educational, home, and community settings.
* Collaboration:
Partner with families, educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic student support.
* IEP/IFSP Participation:
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings as needed.
* Documentation:
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation, progress notes, and service logs. Qualifications
Education & Licensure
* Education:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
* License:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License.
* Certification:
Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification (Educational Specialist or Speech-Language Impairment preferred).
* ASHA:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience
* Experience working with school-age children (5-21) or young children in Early Intervention settings is preferred. Required Clearances & Onboarding Credentials To be considered for this role, candidates must possess or be able to obtain the following:
* PA State License & PDE Certification (if applicable)
* PA Child Abuse History Clearance
* PA State Police Criminal Record Check
* FBI Fingerprint Clearance
* Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure
* Arrest/Conviction Disclosure Statement
* Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training
* Current CPR/First Aid Certification
* Professional Personnel (PPID) Number
* TB Test Clearance
