Job Description Summary

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health seeks a temporary, part-time Program Coordinator to support the Perinatal Resources for Opioid Use Disorder (PROUD) program during a planned staffing transition. The current Program Coordinator will transition into this temporary role to provide continuity of operations and facilitate the onboarding and training of the incoming full-time Program Coordinator.

Job Description

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health seeks a temporary, part-time Program Coordinator to support the Perinatal Resources for Opioid Use Disorder (PROUD) program during a planned staffing transition. The current Program Coordinator will transition into this temporary role to provide continuity of operations and facilitate the onboarding and training of the incoming full-time Program Coordinator.

The PROUD program is a grant-funding interdisciplinary clinic within Penn Family Care that provides comprehensive clinical care and wraparound services for expectant and postpartum patients with substance use disorders and their newborns. In this temporary role, the incumbent will maintain continuity of essential program operations while transferring program knowledge, workflows, and established processes to the incoming Program Coordinator. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day grant activities, assisting with clinic operations, maintaining communication with patients and community partners, supporting principal investigators (PIs), completing grant-related reporting requirements, and providing hands-on training to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to program operations.

The position will receive day-to-day direction from the Principal Investigator (PI). This temporary, part-time appointment is intended solely to support the transition of responsibilities and preserve continuity of the PROUD program during the onboarding of the new full-time Program Coordinator.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
