Access Services is a hiring caring and resilient full time ABA Behavioral Health Technician to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program during school hours and after school hours in Muhlenberg, PA and the surrounding region.

IBHS provides therapeutic services to children (up to the age of 21) who are experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral problems. The program serves clients in their homes, schools, and communities and is focused on collaborating with families to help children learn positive coping skills. Our vision is for all children to be able to lead fulfilling lives and function at optimal levels.

As a Behavioral Health Technician using Applied Behavior Analysis skills, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of children and families by implementing your ABA experience and providing one-on-one supports.

Work Schedule:
  • Full Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours weekly during school hours and after school hours.
Key Responsibilities of ABA Behavioral Health Technician:
  • Provide supports as outlined in the individual’s plan of care utilizing approved interventions such as safe crisis management techniques, emotional support, positive reinforcement, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate case notes for the client in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Attend weekly clinical supervision, regular case reviews, and staff meetings.

The selected candidate must meet all qualifying and ongoing job criteria including background checks and a driving history record.

Driving Requirements:
  • A valid US driver’s license for at least two years, not including time with permit.
  • No serious traffic convictions within the past three years. (Serious convictions include, but are not limited to, DUI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, or three or more traffic violations and/or at-fault accidents within that period).
  • Access to a reliable vehicle during work hours.

    Vehicle must have valid registration and inspection stickers.
  • Valid auto insurance. You will be asked to provide proof that you are a covered driver on the policy.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ years of work in an official role supporting people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral or mental health challenges, or Autism (required).
  • Completion of 40 Hour Registered Behavior Technician training (required)
  • Valid driver's license with 2+ years of driving experience, reliable vehicle, and car insurance (required)
  • No Driver’s License suspensions in the last 48 months. (required)
Other:
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and be available to meet program needs.
  • Ability to travel during work shift to successfully carry out the expectations of this position including attending offsite meetings, providing services in the community, and providing service oversight and supervision. Therefore, employees drive their personal vehicle and/or an agency owned vehicle to meet these expectations. Employees are expected to meet eligibility criteria outlined in our Motor Vehicle Policy, and successfully pass the agency’s substance abuse screening at any time during employment.
