Penn Medicine - 777 Township Line Road - Responsibilities:
Assist in arrival and departure activities of patients in the practice and perform point of service activities including collecting copays and updating EMR;
Schedule patient appointments by determining reason for visit and following established schedules and protocols;
Manage front-end communications: answer phones, handle patient inquiries, retrieve voicemails, and route messages through EMR;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance requirements and assist with demographic/insurance verification;
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards and adapt to practice operation changes
