Patient Care Technician, PRN Days

• Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position
• Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Do not administer medications or therapy
• Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred
• Perform duties under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
• Must work within the limits of the position and not assume independent responsibility for patient care

Demonstrates proficiency in patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, adhering to PAM Health policies and procedures. Holds current BLS certification and possesses experience in acute or rehabilitation hospital settings.
