The Position

Description Of WorkThis role focuses on managing the nutritional care of patients by planning, assessing, and coordinating individualized diet plans. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will perform the following duties:
- Nutritional Assessments: Complete patient assessments and recommend nutrition plans based on medical, dietary, and observational data
- Clinical Collaboration: Participate in treatment team discussions and provide nutrition guidance to staff during meetings and orientations
- Menu Planning: Evaluate and update therapeutic and regular menus while maintaining accurate patient diet information in the database
- Quality Improvement: Assist in performance improvement efforts involving diet accuracy, nutrition outcomes, and policy updates
- Education and Training: Stay current on nutrition standards through continuing education and support departmental learning activities

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Hours may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime and travel as needed.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications
Special Requirement:
- This position requires active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) as issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or proof of eligibility for such certification.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
