Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Addiction Counselor to join our team at our Emlenton location. In this role, you will provide clinical support to individuals in early recovery, facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help each client build a path to long-term recovery. We are offering a $2,000 sign‑on bonus that will be available after the first 90 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate diagnostic impressions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Facilitate evidence‑based group and individual therapy sessions
- Educate and support families as part of the treatment process
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement efforts
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Certification or licensure in Pennsylvania preferred (LPC, LCSW, CAADC, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health
- Working knowledge of addiction theory, trauma‑informed care, and recovery models
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
