$18.48 - $27.72 / hour Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA (Bucks County) is seeking an motivated and enthusiatic Recreational Therapist for Full Time! We are currently seeking a Recreational Therapist to provide treatment services and recreation activities to individuals using a variety of techniques in order to improve or maintain physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual functioning in order to facilitate full participation in life.

Pediatric Specialty Care is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of medically complex and technology dependent individuals ranging from birth to 21 years of age. Recreational Therapist Shift Options (7.5-hour shifts):

Shift: 9:00am-5:00pm, with weekend availability!

Recreational Therapist Status Defined:

Full-time: 5 - 7.5 hour shifts per week, every other weekend availability, Benefit eligible. PSC Benefits to Explore:

Complete a comprehensive assessment of each child, and determine needs areas Plan course of treatment to address needs areas by writing individualized goals for the child Implement activity-based interventions to work toward accomplishing goals developed by therapist Evaluate the current plan quarterly to assess effectiveness of goals and interventions Document the process Assist nursing staff and other disciplines as needed Attend program meetings, such as IEPs, ISPs, appointments etc Recreational Therapist:

Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited institution required"CTRS" (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) credentialed preferred A minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities Experience working in a long term care or hospital setting Experience with pediatric population Must be 21 years or older WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
