Clinical Concierge - Medical Assistant

Role Overview

The Medical Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience. This role combines administrative, clerical, and clinical duties to optimize workflow, facilitate care coordination, and support clinical staff.

• Perform patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance, collect payments, and schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR), logs, and documentation of patient data such as vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers with patient information collection, prepare exam rooms, and ensure proper sanitation.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medications/vaccinations, and support medical procedures.
• Conduct follow-up calls post-discharge to ensure patient care continuity.

• Specialized Diploma or completion of Medical Assistant training;
  Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, MS Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and patient care practices.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days; various medical assistant certifications preferred.

• Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs., perform activities such as kneeling, bending, and CPR.
• Role involves frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard use.
