Job Summary:

Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients, supporting treatment plans and ensuring quality therapeutic services. Ensure compliance with facility policies and promote patient safety during therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Support physical therapists in administering treatments and exercises to patients.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities for continued recovery.
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current state or federal licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience in a rehabilitative or physical therapy setting.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic procedures and patient care techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.
