Location: New Oxford
School Speech Language Pathologist
School Speech Language Pathologist role on a 36-week contract in New Oxford, Pennsylvania. Provide specialized services to preschool students aged 3-5 with special education needs. Earn up to $70 per hour plus bonus, with comprehensive benefits and support from the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide speech and language services to preschool students aged 3-5 with special education needs.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individual education plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Implement therapy programs using provided materials, testing kits, and lesson plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation and weekly paperwork within designated time periods.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support student progress and adapt interventions as needed.
- Current special education teaching certification.
- Valid in-person Speech Language Pathologist certification.
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience, preferably with preschool students.
- Itinerant work across New Oxford and Gettysburg areas.
- Experience working with children ages 3-5 with special education needs.
- Proficiency with testing kits, lesson planning, and documentation.
- Must pass background check.
- Reliable technology (laptop, iPad).
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork.
