$20,000 Sign on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for an X-ray Tech I and we are seeking candidates for that position. Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role (X‑ray Tech II) based on their skills, qualifications, and experience. The role is responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, equipment operation, and maintaining related records.

• Perform standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient position, identification, and exposure techniques.
• Operate all equipment within the modality and set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment.
• Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to plan examinations.
• Assist physicians with various procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and need for adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain related records and notations.
• Assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.
• Participate in the educational training of students.
• Work in a clinical environment and comply with all organization policies and procedures.

Education: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program – Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certifications & Licenses: Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body;
Certified Radiology Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Base salary: $20,000;
