A vacancy exists for a Long-Term Substitute Occupational Therapist to work within the Office of Early Childhood Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. This position will provide services to children ages 3 to 5 years old. This position will be available from August 24th, 2026 to TBD.
Qualifications- Valid Pennsylvania state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by MCIUupon hire)
- Deliver direct and indirect service to children ages 3 to 5 years old
- Evaluate and/or assess student skills during initial or re-evaluation to determine need for related services
- Collaborate and communicate with MDE/IEP team
- Develop, revise and monitor progress of IEP goals
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and services children throughout Montgomery County, PA. Our Early Intervention Program is split on school district lines into four (4) regions within Montgomery County. Position requires travel, location will be determined during the interview process. Work ScheduleMonday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 12 months (194 days/year)
Salary- Bachelor's, Step 1: $53,997/year
- Master's, Step 1: $65,007/year
* Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master's Degree.
