A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a 13‑week contract‑to‑hire opportunity. This role focuses on preparing compounded sterile and non‑sterile medications, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile preparations following master formula worksheets.
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with USP and related guidelines for compounding practices.
• Perform cleaning and garbing procedures per company standards.
• Conduct precise calculations and maintain thorough documentation.
• Operate production and computerized equipment while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Utilize correct aseptic techniques and prepare work areas meticulously before production.
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify compounded medication accuracy, purity, and potency.
• Stay current with new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to compounding pharmacy.

• Demonstrated experience in sterile compounding is essential.

• Monday to Friday with shift options:8:00 AM 4:30 PM9:00 AM 5:30 PM10:30 AM 7:00 PM (may be assigned)
