About the Role
As a Patient Transport Driver at Mahoning Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team, transporting patients safely and efficiently throughout our 142-bed community. As a Patient Transport Driver, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families, while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Safely transport patients to and from various appointments, treatments, and activities
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport
- Document transportation records accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff to ensure smooth transportation processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have experience transporting patients
- Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and equipment as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within the community
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
