The New Foundations
- Wellsprings and Positive Resolutions programs provide supportive behavioral health services designed to empower individuals in their recovery journey. Through person-centered, strength-based approaches, program staff help participants develop independent living skills, improve overall wellness, and successfully engage in their communities.

As a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker, you'll work directly with program participants and interdisciplinary teams to provide rehabilitation services that promote growth, recovery, and independence.

What You'll Do
  • Promote recovery-oriented and psychiatric rehabilitation principles.
  • Assist participants in identifying strengths, needs, goals, and recovery plans.
  • Provide skill-building services that support independence and wellness.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing and strength-based approaches.
  • Facilitate group and individual rehabilitation activities.
  • Participate in community-based outings and skill-development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and treatment teams.
  • Document services and participant progress in electronic health records.
  • Support implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by program leadership.

Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of six months of direct care experience supporting individuals with mental health, substance use, or forensic-related challenges.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to complete required employment screenings, physical examination, and TB testing.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation and state-required automobile insurance.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience facilitating groups and skill-building activities.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented practices.
