Licensed Nursing Home Administrator- Oversees the daily operations all functions of the Skilled Care Nursing Facility.
- Envisions future business trends and establishes appropriate goals to support changes in priorities or direction.
- Develops and maintains written policies and procedures that govern the operation so Preston.
- Reviews policies periodically, at least annually, and makes changes as needed to assure compliance with current regulations.
- Interprets the organization’s policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc.
- Develops plans and goals for the Preston residence that coincide with strategic goals of the organization.
- Maintains appropriate census level for skilled living residence.
- Coordinates with all other departments to ensure high level of care and services within the facilities.
- Reviews resident complaints, grievances, and unusual incidents and discusses with resident, family, and executive director as appropriate.
- Resolves resident and staff concerns by takin prompt active steps.
- Makes oral and written reports/recommendations to the Executive Director concerning the operation of Skilled Care and Assisted Living residence.
- Maintains and updates knowledge of all legal, regulatory, administrative, and technical issues impacting the Skilled Care Facility.
- Participates in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
- Develop and ensure implementation of a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections and provide a written copy to the Executive Director.
- Attends and participates in all appropriate departmental/organizational meetings, training and development opportunities.
- Serves on the following committees (Infection Control, Safety, Quality Assurance/Care Support Plan, etc) and provides written/oral reports of such committee meetings to the executive director as needed.
- Chairs the Quality Assurance committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans action to correct identified quality improvement opportunities Preston.
- Puts customer service first. Ensures that clients and families receive the highest quality of service and care in a manner which recognizes the individual’s needs, desires and rights.
- Completes performance evaluations within 30 days of due dates
- 5 years’ experience as an Administrator or Executive Director of a Skilled Care Facility
- BS/BA or master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent
- Dynamic Leadership Skills
- Must have Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator License in good standing
- Health Plan (BCBS)
