Role:
Occupational Therapist in Home Health Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and occupational therapy needs in accordance with medical conditions and plan of care
- Provide services within the scope of practice, using evidence-based techniques, and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report changes to supervisors and physicians
- Conduct patient assessments using diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the practicing state
- CPR certification and valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments regardless of client background
- Preferred:
Strong multitasking, independence, communication, and organizational skills
