Shift Availability

5pm-8pm- 1 week day
EOW- 9am-4pm

Responsibilities

Implementation of recreational programs
Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance
Clinical Paperwork (care plans, assessments, progress notes)
Calendar creation/prep and implementation of structured activities for a 34 bed LTC unit
Assist with supervision, training, and overseeing activity staff

#G4 Qualifications of Healthcare Activities Assistant:

College degree or activity related certification preferred
Desire to work with the senior population
Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
Dementia care experience is required.
