Behavioral Health Technician - IBHS

Northeast Counseling Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team in Luzerne County.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide one-on-one and group support to children and adolescents, helping them build skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their treatment goals. Working closely with our Behavioral Consultants, you'll play a vital role in creating positive change for youth and families in our community.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• High School Diploma with experience working with children or adolescents preferred

Job Duties:

• Ongoing training and workshops are provided and are mandatory, as is knowledge of the CASSP System.
• Knowledge of the mental health and social service field; familiarity with and ability to access community resources;
• Ability to make accurate assessments of client needs and to be creative in seeking appropriate services;
• Ability to organize time efficiently to meet client needs in a flexible, non-traditional time frame.

Position Details:

• Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Location: Community-based services throughout Luzerne County
• License: Valid Driver's License required
