McMurray Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to join our team. This position plays an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and assisting with engaging activities and programs.

The Activities Aide assists in the development and implementation of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities designed to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

• Assist in planning and conducting daily activities and group programs
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Provide one-on-one activities for residents as needed
• Help decorate for holidays and special events
• Transport residents to and from activities
• Maintain activity supplies and equipment
• Document participation and resident responses as required

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in long-term care or activities preferred
• Creative, patient, and compassionate demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
