We are a supportive, collaborative imaging team where you'll care for patients across all ages, perform a variety of exams, and grow your skills through CT cross-training.
How You'll ContributeA Radiology Technician who excels in this role:
- Positions, transfers and properly immobilizes patients as required.
- Completes testing in a professional and safe manner.
- Completes annual required education.
- Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
- Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- Assists physician in administering opaque media.
- Practices sterile technique and prevents cross-contamination.
- Maintains professional skills and provides age-specific needs to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, children, adolescents and geriatric).
- Follows safety procedures and guidelines and reports unsafe practices or conditions.
- Participates in peer competencies.
- Must identify patients using two patient identifiers.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding patient/employee information.
- Provide appropriate care to patients of all ages (neonates to geriatrics).
- Performs all calibrations, quality control, instrument function verification and minor troubleshooting according to section's procedure manual.

Applicants should be a Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology. Additional requirements include:
- ARRT/ASRT and RT‑CT Licensure.
- Licensure in CT within 1 year of hire.
- Cat Scan experience or willing to train in Cat Scan.
Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center is a 12‑bed critical access hospital that has served the rural Meyersdale community for 70 years. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care as an accredited chest pain center, and offers high‑quality, comprehensive outpatient, imaging, diagnostic, and specialty services close to home. Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center also provides primary care services, preventative care, and community education to the Meyersdale community through its Family Health Care Rural Health Clinic.
