Role:
Associate Director, Preclinical Sciences and Translational Safety (PSTS) Integration & Transition Management, based in Spring House, PA or La Jolla, CA.
Objectives: lead and coordinate PSTS integration activities for acquisitions, licensing, collaborations, and divestitures to ensure seamless transition of assets, systems, and data.
Responsibilities include developing and managing cross-functional integration plans, translating diligence findings into actionable work streams, overseeing data and record transfers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and animal welfare standards, and managing laboratory and facilities transitions. Also, responsible for financial planning, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of integration processes.
Requirements: minimum 8 years in pharma, biotech, or related life sciences environment; proven experience managing complex cross-functional programs; knowledge of preclinical research operations, quality, compliance, and data transfer; strong program management, influencing, communication, and financial skills.
Preferred: experience supporting M&A, licensing, or organizational change.
High Value: focus on preclinical sciences, translational safety, and asset integration within Innovative Medicine; entails collaboration with multiple internal functions and external partners.
Work Setup: based in California or Pennsylvania, with potential for international postings.
