Location: Baden
Spa Manager
The Spa Manager is responsible for the daily management of the spa, supervision of teams, excellence in the client experience, and the achievement of financial objectives. They embody the Fairmont service standards and ensure a serene, luxurious, and wellness-focused environment for clients.
Main Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Supervise all spa operations (care, reception, locker rooms, wellness areas).
- Ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities and guarantee a clean, safe, and harmonious environment.
- Ensure compliance with protocols, quality standards, and hygiene norms.
2. Leadership & Management
- Recruit, mentor, motivate, and train teams (therapists, spa receptionists, masseuses, coaches…).
- Define schedules, performance objectives, and evaluate skills.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful work climate.
3. Client Experience
- Ensure impeccable, personalized service in line with Fairmont standards.
- Manage complaints diplomatically and propose solutions focused on client satisfaction.
- Create exceptional client journeys in synergy with other departments (accommodation, dining…).
4. Strategy & Performance
- Define and monitor profitability, revenue, and cost objectives for the Spa.
- Analyze key performance indicators (occupancy rate of cabins, revenue per treatment, client satisfaction).
- Develop attractive commercial offers and strategic partnerships.
5. Offer Development
- Ensure the updating of the spa menu in line with wellness trends.
- Launch new treatments, products, or rituals in collaboration with partner brands.
- Work with marketing to promote the Spa to internal and external clients.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Degree in hotel management, aesthetics, wellness, or similar fields.
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in managing a luxury spa.
- Experience in a high-end hotel environment is highly appreciated.
Technical Skills
- Mastery of high-end service standards (Forbes, LQA…).
- Good skills in financial management, KPI analysis, and sales.
- Good knowledge of spa reservation software (Spa Soft, Book4
Time…).
