Job Description:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms.

Required Skills and Requisites:
Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey information and ideas

Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.

Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Weekend Evening and Holidays availability is a must.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Clean and service guest rooms according to established brand and property standards, including making beds, changing linens, and replacing towels

Dust, sanitize, and wipe down all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and hard floors

Vacuum carpets and clean bathrooms thoroughly, including tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors

Restock guest room amenities such as toiletries, coffee supplies, glassware, and printed materials

Empty trash and recycling and replace liners as needed

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage found in guest rooms to the appropriate department

Inspect rooms for cleanliness and completeness before marking them ready for guest occupancy

Maintain and organize housekeeping carts, supply closets, and equipment

Adhere to all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Communicate room status updates accurately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Front Desk Assist with deep cleaning projects and turnover cleans as assigned

Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times

Follow all company policies regarding uniform, grooming, and punctuality
