Position:
Orientation. Duration: 0.5 month.
Job Description:
You will receive an orientation to the company and the local community which includes learning about our company’s customers, culture, business strategies, etc.; learn about payroll schedules and payroll tax withholding; local training area, housing options, apartment complexes, and transportation options; meet key contacts and other employees; receive computer training on company systems; receive an orientation to the local community including cultural centers, volunteer opportunities, local sporting events, and entertainment venues.
Orientation is scheduled for up to one month and takes place concurrently with the first training phase.
Position:
Floor Manager – Operations. Skills Acquisition Duration: 5.5 months.
Job Description:
This phase of training will focus on acquiring front‑of‑house operations management skills in a high‑end Mediterranean restaurant. The trainee will gain hands‑on experience in luxury dining standards, guest relations, wine service, dining room leadership, reservation management, and daily restaurant operations. Emphasis will be placed on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Position:

Job Description:
This phase of training will focus on developing management and leadership skills required to supervise a fine dining front‑of‑house team. The trainee will gain experience in coaching and mentoring staff, scheduling, performance management, conflict resolution, wine and food service leadership, guest recovery, and maintaining exceptional service standards. Emphasis will be placed on motivating team members, supporting operational excellence, and delivering memorable dining experiences.
Restaurant Manager – Skills Implementation (Department: Food and Beverage)
Position:
Assistant Restaurant Manager – Skills Implementation. Duration: 6 months.
Job Description:
This phase of training will focus on applying and refining the operational and leadership skills acquired during the previous training phases. The trainee will assist in managing all aspects of the dining room, including team leadership, guest relations, wine and food service, scheduling, quality assurance, cost awareness, and daily operations. Emphasis will be placed on independent decision‑making, mentoring team members, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining the exceptional service standards that define Savona’s fine dining experience.
- you are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry
- you have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA)
- you have 5? years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
- you have shown consistent career growth over the last years
- you have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
