Location: Glenside

Accela Healthcare is seeking a knowledgeable and approachable Human Resources Generalist to support our team and help foster a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being both strategic and hands‑on — someone who can balance compliance, employee relations, recruitment support, and culture‑building in a fast‑paced healthcare setting.

Schedule Monday‑Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Support full‑cycle recruitment efforts including posting, screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of required employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HRIS records in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, coaching, documentation, and investigations.
  • Track and manage leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and benefits enrollment.
  • Support performance management and corrective action processes.
  • Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance related to healthcare and labor laws.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and help maintain a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Healthcare or long‑term care experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
