HR Administrator
The HR Administrator performs a wide variety of functions in the Human Resources department, playing a key role in the effective operations of the department. Administratively supports different areas within the HR departments scope of responsibility training & development, performance management, benefits, employee relations, & onboarding. Acts as first point of contact for HR related inquiries from employees and external parties.
Ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Has authority to take independent action and make decisions, as defined by the Human Resources Manager.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Ensure completion of required documentation (I-9s, tax forms, background checks)
- Coordinate drug screenings and manage labor law postings
- Follow record retention guidelines and stay current on HR regulations
- Support pre-employment processes (scheduling, testing, background checks, drug screens)
- Assist with recruiting activities including application review, screenings, and interview coordination
- Prepare and support new hire orientation
- Coordinate onboarding and performance review processes; track deadlines
- Support compensation changes and maintain attendance documentation
- Prepare related reports
- Assist with exit interviews, separations, and unemployment claims
- Respond to employee inquiries and support engagement efforts
- Maintain HR data and generate reports
- Process personnel changes and support payroll accuracy
- Provide general administrative and project support
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to four years of office experience in an administrative environment provided exposure to a wide variety of administrative functions
