Human Resources Generalist
Location: Eastvale, CA
Salary Range: $72-78K/yr
Role Summary
Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire an HR Generalist for our Eastvale, CA location. Our HR Generalists are at the heart of our Distribution Center operations, supporting the people side of the business with high energy and meaningful impact. In this role, you’ll partner closely with leaders and employees to deliver hands‑on HR support, ensure policies and practices are applied consistently, and help foster a positive, high‑performing workplace.
You’ll also keep daily office operations running seamlessly, playing a key part in creating an organized, compliant, and people‑focused environment where our operations teams can thrive.
- Handling employee relations for warehouse and delivery associates (multiple shifts).
- Applicant screening, interviewing, and managing onboarding through ATS.
- Documenting attendance, PTO, and timecards.
- Assisting with payroll‑related issues.
- Assisting with employee benefits.
- Documenting, filing, and managing workers’ comp claims and FMLA issues.
- Coordinating employee disciplinary issues with HR department for resolution and action.
- Travel to regional cross‑dock (delivery hub) as needed; trips typically 1 to 3 days long.
- Responding to general HR related inquiries from employees.
- Managing and coordinating office activities:
- Hiring, training, supervising administration support staff.
- Managing general services: purchasing office supplies, mail distribution, maintenance and repair of office equipment, and facility‑related issues.
- Supporting cross‑docks with safety compliance and reporting.
- Maintaining contact with outside vendors and suppliers regarding office and facility needs.
- Gathering, organizing, and summarizing data for management reports.
- Implementing general office systems, procedures, and methods: record retention, preparation and control of common and administrative expenses/budgets.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Prior experience in a distribution center/warehouse environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources, unbiased evaluations, and employee benefits.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with others.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to interpret graphs.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and incorporating functions into Word, Excel, databases, and PowerPoint.
- Moderately complex oral and written communication; may train others, interact with others, and present to department or middle management.
- Handle routine, repetitive problems following clear directions and procedures.
- Contribute to operational decisions affecting department or business unit.
- Define results, set personal goals, determine how to achieve results with minimal guidance.
- Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
- Primarily sedentary work; require sitting for extended periods using computer, keyboard, mouse.
- Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays.
- Must be able to lift upwards of 25 pounds.
