Overview

We are seeking a curious, detail‑oriented Junior HR / Compensation Data Analyst to support our global HR and Talent teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is excited to work with people, compensation, and labor market data and to help bring consistency and insight to complex, evolving information. The HR / Compensation Analyst will support salary market analysis, job architecture efforts, and recruiting data standardization across professional, campus, and intern populations globally.

This role offers strong exposure to compensation, workforce analytics, and global HR practices, with opportunities to build technical and analytical skills.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in analyzing salary survey and market benchmarking data under guidance from senior team members.
  • Support compensation analyses by preparing datasets, identifying trends, and summarizing findings.
  • Conduct basic research to supplement market data, as directed.
  • Support efforts to standardize job titles, job levels, and job families across the organization.
  • Help review job descriptions and role information to classify work consistently across professional, campus, and intern roles.
  • Document role attributes and maintain job‑related data in standardized formats.
  • Clean, organize, and standardize recruiting and role data collected in varying formats.
  • Help convert unstructured information into structured datasets for analysis and reporting.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with gathering external data from public websites and labor market sources.
  • Support independent research projects related to labor markets, emerging roles, and compensation trends.
  • Maintain documentation of data sources and methodologies.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Statistics, HR, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a data, analytics, HR, or research‑focused role.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with messy or incomplete data.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
  • Ability to follow defined processes while asking thoughtful questions.
  • Coursework or internships related to HR analytics, compensation, economics, or labor markets.
  • Exposure to recruiting or HR systems (ATS/HRIS).
  • Familiarity with data cleaning, basic automation, or web scraping concepts.
  • Interest in global workforce trends and job design.
