We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. You will help foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
This position will require the qualified candidate to work on site, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. There is no option for this to be remote.
What You'll Do:- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offers
- Conduct new-hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity
- Support performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans
- Handle employee relation matters with professionalism and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and open enrollment
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, Child Labor Act, etc.)
- Partner with managers on coaching, policy interpretation, and organizational development initiatives
- Manage, report and audit unemployment claims
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership as needed
- Administer drug tests
- Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, Workday, ADP, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
