Bilingual Onsite Recruiter | Wind Gap, PA
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Occasional Saturdays.
Reports to:
Regional Manager
You'll be onsite at our client's facility in Wind Gap. That means you're the face of Midway to every associate who walks in the door, and you're the person the client calls when they need fifteen people covered by Monday morning.
You own that site. Recruiting, onboarding, timecards, check-ins, problem-solving. When it runs well, it's because you made it run well.
What the week actually looks likeMonday you're walking the floor with the plant supervisor, getting a read on headcount and seeing how last week's hires are settling in. Tuesday you're screening resumes and running phone interviews. Wednesday you're onboarding four new people, pushing background checks through, and making sure everyone knows where to show up and what to bring. Thursday is timecards, because payroll going out clean is not optional.
Friday you might be at a hiring event, or you might be untangling whatever went sideways that week.
Some weeks are smooth. Some weeks a shift falls apart at 6 AM and you fix it before the client notices. If that sounds exhausting, this probably isn't the right fit. If it sounds like a decent day at work, keep reading.
What you'll own- Being the main point of contact for the client and for every associate on site
- Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for open roles, in person and by phone
- Running onboarding end to end: background checks, paperwork, compliance, day-one logistics
- Making sure new hires have a real first day instead of standing around wondering who to ask
- Processing and approving timecards accurately so payroll is right the first time
- Checking in regularly with associates and the client to catch small problems before they become big ones
- Representing Midway at job fairs and community hiring events to keep the pipeline full
- Working with recruiters and leadership on staffing strategy and workforce planning
- Bilingual, English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's in HR, business, or something related is a plus, not a requirement)
- 1 to 2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support. Agency experience is a big plus
- Comfort running interviews face to face and over the phone
- Real organizational skills, because you'll be juggling five things at once most days
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, plus experience in an ATS
- The instinct to solve a problem yourself before escalating it
People who like being the one others come to. People who follow up without being reminded. People who can tell a candidate no with respect and tell a client the truth when something isn't going to work.
If you need every day mapped out in advance, this role will frustrate you. If you'd rather have the autonomy to run your site your way, you'll like it here.
What you get- Weekly pay
- Quarterly bonus potential on top of base
- Paid, hands-on training so you're not figuring it out alone
- Medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and 401(k) for eligible employees
