POSITION OVERVIEW: The Corporate HR Generalist supports day-to-day corporate HR operations and serves as a hands-on resource for employees, managers, and leaders. This role supports employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits, HRIS administration, performance management, and employee lifecycle activities. The position has no direct reports and includes a strong emphasis on payroll oversight, payroll-related compliance, timekeeping review, employee data accuracy, and effective use of the
ADP Payroll system

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Corporate HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a corporate HR resource to employees, managers, and leaders by supporting HR programs, policies, processes, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, employee matters, staffing needs, position changes, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate HR records, support HR reporting, and use HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
Employee Relations & Manager Support
- Coach managers and employees on policies, procedures, workplace expectations, performance concerns, employee relations matters, and documentation.
- Conduct or support investigations, corrective action, conflict resolution, and employee issue resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a respectful, professional, and productive workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Support recruiting strategy, candidate selection, onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and related documentation.
- Administer HR policies, maintain accurate records, support compliance with employment laws, and partner with payroll, benefits, safety, finance, and operations.
Performance Management, Training & Development
- Coordinate performance management, goal setting, reviews, documentation, and manager guidance.
- Identify training needs and support employee development, compliance training, leadership development, succession planning, and retention strategies.
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and effective management practices.
- Provide payroll oversight by reviewing timekeeping records, pay changes, deductions, special earnings, new hire entries, termination data, and other payroll inputs for accuracy and timeliness.
- Use the ADP Payroll system to support payroll processing, employee data maintenance, payroll reporting, audits, and resolution of payroll discrepancies.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, Benefits, and managers to ensure payroll-related information is complete, compliant, confidential, and communicated appropriately.
- Process biweekly corporate payroll and all other special payments as needed.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Reporting
- Support compensation administration, job evaluations, salary recommendations, annual review processes.
- Lead healthcare benefits administration and enrollment for all locations.
- Lead corporate oversight of employee leaves of absence.
- Support corporate and plant HR during open enrollment, being the liaison between the company and the TPA.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics; maintain confidentiality and accuracy in HRIS, ADP Payroll inputs, employee records, benefits information, and payroll-related reporting.
SKILLS &
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Ability to operate as an HR business partner, advise leaders, support organizational change, and balance employee advocacy with business needs.
- Excellent communication, coaching, conflict resolution, relationship-building, confidentiality, and sound judgment skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret HR and payroll data, maintain confidentiality, and use Microsoft Office, HRIS, ATS, reporting tools, and ADP Payroll systems.
