We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of Human Resources for our growing manufacturing organization. We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of Human Resources for our growing manufacturing organization. You will work directly with executive leadership to help shape our culture, support our employees, and build processes that strengthen our organization for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the organization's primary HR resource and trusted advisor to leadership and employees.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to leaders on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment law.
  • Lead employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment, including workplace investigations and appropriate resolutions.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Own the integrity of the HRIS, employee records, reporting, and HR systems while continuously improving HR processes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee communications.
  • Administer and continuously enhance the performance management process.
  • Coordinate employee training, engagement, recognition, and development initiatives.
  • Own the payroll function, including the administration and processing of bi-weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all payroll-related processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience with demonstrated success independently managing a comprehensive HR function or serving as the primary HR professional for an organization.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or operations environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, HR compliance, employment law, HRIS administration, leave administration, workers' compensation, and policy development.
  • Experience with an HRIS; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
