HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions (KFS) is seeking an experienced, energetic HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to support our growing, multi-state organization.
This is not a purely administrative HR position. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding great people, building relationships, solving problems, and creating consistent HR practices across multiple states and programs.
What You'll Do- Talent Acquisition & Internal Recruiting
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for administrative, clinical, operational, and leadership positions
- Partner directly with organizational leaders to understand current and future staffing needs
- Develop proactive recruiting strategies and pipelines rather than relying solely on posted openings
- Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates
- Improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency, candidate quality, and speed to hire
- Support internal recruitment, promotions, and career-development opportunities for existing employees
- Build relationships with colleges, professional organizations, referral sources, and other recruiting partners
- Track recruiting metrics and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers
- Provide guidance regarding employee relations concerns, performance management, workplace expectations, and conflict resolution
- Coach managers on effective employee communication, documentation, and performance conversations
- Participate in investigations and assist leadership in addressing workplace concerns fairly and consistently
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Help strengthen a culture of accountability, communication, and professional development
- Multi-State HR & Compliance
- Support HR operations across multiple states and programs
- Maintain an understanding of federal and state employment requirements and recognize when state-specific practices are necessary
- Partner with operational and clinical leadership to understand regulatory requirements affecting employees within human services and behavioral health programs
- Assist with policies, procedures, employee handbook updates, and implementation of HR practices
- Help ensure consistency across the organization while recognizing differences in state regulations and program requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting
- Strong employee relations experience
- Experience supporting employees and managers across multiple states strongly preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, ABA, IDD, or other regulated service environments strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, judgment, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
- Comfortable working in a growing organization where priorities evolve and HR has an opportunity to improve systems and processes
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
The right person is more than an HR administrator. You are someone who can recruit a great candidate in the morning, coach a manager through an employee issue in the afternoon, and recognize that the answer to an HR question may be different in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or another state.
