Title: Senior Quality Assurance Test Lead [Sr. QA Test Lead]

Role Description: The Senior Quality Assurance Test Lead will join a technical team in Pittsburgh, PA to oversee software quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with a passion for ensuring the highest quality in software products and a proven track record of efficient and continuous testing. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a challenging, collaborative environment and is willing to travel as part of their responsibilities.

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and testing coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development/Engineering, or another technical field.
• Experience in automated testing tools.
• Genuine passion for testing and commitment to continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Driven, independent worker that can easily adapt to new and existing projects.
• Ability to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for projects and meetings.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with the Steel/Metals industry and related industrial sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Testing: Coordinate comprehensive manual and automated testing in projects to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Test Planning: Ensure the development, documentation, and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to production management solutions.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using Jira or other defect tracking tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, product management, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
• Automation: Organize the use of automated testing using relevant technologies in projects.
• Communication: Proactively coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are utilizing appropriate quality assurance and test methodologies.
