Century Cabinetry, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. Play a key role in supporting our enterprise systems, maintaining data integrity, and enabling efficient reporting/analytics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working collaboratively across departments, and contributing to the smooth operation of business‑critical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Help Desk Support:
- Manage incoming IT support requests via phone and email.
- Prioritize and resolve Level 1 issues; elevate complex problems to appropriate IT personnel.
- Document user information and issue details for tracking and resolution.
- Provide remote assistance and follow‑up to ensure successful problem resolution.
- ERP & Business Systems Maintenance
- Assist with ERP system updates, data maintenance, and documentation.
- Support day‑to‑day troubleshooting for issues such as inaccessible or incorrect data, software glitches, and usability concerns.
- Work closely with the development team to test new features and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Maintain organized technical documentation using Basecamp and other tools.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop ad‑hoc SQL queries using a visual GUI interface.
- Design and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and inquiries using IBM Cognos Analytics.
- Support annual updates to product specifications and pricing catalogs, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Training & User Support:
- Provide basic training on new and existing software tools to end users.
- Share actionable tips and guidance to help users resolve common issues and improve system usage.
- Education:
- High school diploma (required).
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or relevant certifications (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in IT support or technical support roles.
- Intermediate SQL skills and experience writing queries using visual tools.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Teams).
- Familiarity with IBM iSeries (preferred).
- Familiarity with IBM Cognos Analytics (preferred).
