Pay Rate: 26/hr (all Inclusive) Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Deskside Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and troubleshooting services to our clients, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of desktop systems.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in desktop support, specifically L2/L3 support
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and troubleshooting issues
- Proficiency in client-side mail systems (MS Outlook), MS Office, and other industry-standard applications
- Experience in managing VIP clients
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Skills & Qualifications
- Good personality and presentability
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Service Now IT Service Management and Desktop Management - Infrastructure Services (IS)
- Basic troubleshooting and repair of IT equipment failures
- Power on/power off devices, reset remote management connection IDs and passwords
- Reseat cables and perform general troubleshooting to assist remote troubleshooting efforts
- Provide feedback on console display issues (e.g., stop errors, blue screen)
- Identify and report audible errors and system failures
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and handle customer/vendor interactions professionally
