We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Voice Network Engineer / Unified Communications Engineer to manage, support, and optimize the organization’s voice communication infrastructure. The role is responsible for the design, deployment, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise voice systems, including Audio Codes Session Border Controllers (SBCs), OVOC, Media Gateways, and Cisco Unified Communications environments. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, call routing, and unified communications platforms.
This individual will work closely with network, systems, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure stable, secure, and high‑performing voice services across the organization.
- Voice Infrastructure Administration – Manage and maintain enterprise voice infrastructure, including Audio Codes SBCs, OVOC, Media Gateways, Cisco CUCM, Cisco CME.
- Configure, deploy, and support VoIP and unified communications solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and configuration changes.
- Ensure high availability, redundancy, and reliability of voice communication systems.
- Voice Network Design & Deployment – Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of voice network solutions.
- Configure SIP trunks, dial plans, call routing, and numbering schemes.
- Support deployment and provisioning of IP phones, softphones, voice gateways, and collaboration devices.
- Assist in integrating voice systems with existing network and infrastructure environments.
- Monitoring & Performance Management – Monitor voice systems and network performance to ensure service quality and uptime.
- Analyze voice traffic, call quality metrics, and system logs to proactively identify issues.
- Utilize monitoring and management tools such as OVOC for performance tracking and reporting.
- Implement improvements to optimize voice performance and reduce downtime.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting – Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for voice-related incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot VoIP, SIP, call routing, latency, jitter, packet loss, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal IT teams for issue resolution.
- Support root cause analysis and incident management activities.
- Documentation & Compliance – Maintain accurate documentation for network diagrams, voice architecture, configurations, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT standards, security policies, and operational procedures.
- Participate in change management and system audit activities.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement – Work closely with Network, Infrastructure, Security, and Helpdesk teams for seamless service integration.
- Recommend improvements and best practices for voice infrastructure management.
- Support projects involving voice migration, modernization, and cloud telephony initiatives when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or any related field.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in Voice Network Engineering, Unified Communications, or VoIP administration.
- Strong experience with Audio Codes SBC, Audio Codes OVOC, Cisco CUCM.
