SOA Architect

This role is responsible for working with the Enterprise Architect and the technical team to define architectural solutions and ensure the solution is efficiently designed and implemented. This individual will also be responsible for middleware development for assigned projects and must possess strong software engineering skills and a strong development background to build Web services. This position will be responsible for building the SOA web services, leveraging OWSM security, CEP, UDDI, Oracle Identity Manager (LDAP) frameworks.

The candidate is asked to perform tasks such as design, develop Java / J2EE applications and services, execute test plans, co-ordinate, implement and deploy software in multiple environments. The SOA Architect/Developer brings 10+ years of proven experience from related businesses or organizations as well as system integration and technology experience. They consult with the client to define needs or problems, conduct research, perform studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyze problems to advise and make recommendations on business and technical solutions based on hands-on experience solving similar business problems.

They can utilize knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization. The SOA Architect/Developer in this role will be responsible for the creation of architecture and software design documents in coordination with the Tech Leads and other Architects from other impacted teams. They will be involved in recommending architecture guidelines, documenting architectural decisions and working with the Enterprise Architects to ensure proposed designs are compliant with the CEDC architecture direction.

They will also be responsible for ensuring that the architecture is documented and reviewed for proposed projects within the CEDC.
