Application Support Analyst | Production Services | Experienced

Overview

Susquehanna is currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to work on our Proprietary Trading Services team. You will join a group focused on the support and technical operations of our core trading systems, responsible for all aspects of server side application support: job scheduling, troubleshooting issues, intraday restarts, tactical response to production issues, deploying change and working directly with our developer and engineering teams.

• Provide daily support of proprietary trading systems crucial to our business
• Coordinate, implement and support daily system level changes in a Windows and Linux environment
• Troubleshoot trading related issues by investigating client/server log files
• Perform server side application support, job scheduling, and basic scripting
• Coordinate technical resources and communicate to both business and technology communities during production issues

• 1-3 years of experience in an application support, operations, systems administration, or related role
• Ability to independently identify problems and develop solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux)
• Foundational knowledge of Power Shell, Python, or Bash scripting
• Previous experience within a financial services or trading environment is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred
