  • Track down requirements from an instream code.
  • 1st order of biz for the BSA- research, sort and collect any requirements where ever they maybe located.
  • Must be able to collect and normalize these requirements and put them into a standard format - BA will have the latidute to create/own that standard format, currently this is not one.
  • Requires some information/data mining while using BA skills to normalize the information for teams to be able to digest.
  • Not your typical BSA role, won’t just set meetings to gather info from individuals. Will need to have select meetings and drive and do the homework independently giving the resources and pointed in the right direction.

Technologies:

  • Okta, Sailpoint are great to have not required. Will consider developers with projects under their belt as a BSA
  • Active Directory- currently an on-prem AD but moving to a Cloud AD
  • Manager feels a strong BSA will be able to learn and understand these tools quickly.

Job description:

  • Analyzes business and user needs and documents requirements. Develops moderately complex information systems, and advises on the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Responsible for establishing and adhering to a documentation standard; both format and location, based on existing available resources that will be shared and modeled within the department.
  • Translates client’s requirements and business needs and writes functional documentation and system and software requirements. Participates in technical designs and test planning. Formulates and defines the systems scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
  • Responsible for identifying previously captured client requirements; documenting these requirements in accordance with documentation standards and communicating the information back to stakeholders.
  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results. Leads the design and testing of new or enhanced applications.
  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes. Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues.
  • Performs user support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications. Leads the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.
  • Guides and advises less experienced crew.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsibilities are cross-team and will cross a variety of projects and work streams.
