Business Intelligence Engineer; On-Site

Job Overview

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing superior customer service and advanced technical support to ensure quality patient care and user satisfaction.

• Design and implement databases, ETL routines (using SSIS), stored procedures, and OLAP solutions, and provide support and enhancements to existing data solutions.
• Design and build normalized and denormalized database solutions using healthcare industry best practices for data warehousing for specific client requirements.
• Work on multiple concurrent deadline-driven projects while ensuring data quality and meeting service level agreements.
• Build and maintain cubes (internal and client-facing).
• Optimize database schemas, queries, cubes, and reports, implementing complex logic requirements.
• Conduct tuning reviews / assessments (DB and SQL tuning), reporting, and query monitoring.
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.

• Associate’s degree or commensurate experience in a technical field required.
• Prior experience in database development using Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS preferred; understanding performance, deployment, configuration, security, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing SQL queries preferred.
• Previous experience building and supporting business intelligence / data warehousing solutions; knowledge of healthcare data models preferred.

• Required to stand, sit, and be mobile up to two-thirds of the time.

• Compensation Range: $30.05 - $44.13 per hour.
• Annual milestone bonus for all eligible employees: $500 for each year worked, up to $5,000.
